  • Our senior management team, in particular, receives extensive training in identifying and resolving concerns about modern slavery and human trafficking;
  • Our recruiters attend training courses that include guidance on modern slavery and human trafficking, as well as other broader human rights issues.
  • All of our employees are given information about modern slavery and human trafficking so that they can bring any concerns they have to management’s attention.
  1. All employees, workers, and other parties are strongly encouraged to report any concerns or suspicions to our HR manager.
  2. Our board of directors and senior management take these reports very seriously, and they are committed to ensuring that all investigations are prompt and effective. If our investigations uncover any issues, we are committed to taking appropriate action, which may include, but is not limited to:
  • Working with the appropriate organisations to improve standards,
  • Removing that organisation from our preferred supplier list, and reporting them to the appropriate law enforcement bodies.
  1. We monitor our risks in this area on a regular basis using relevant key performance indicators, such as:
  • the percentage of suppliers who sign up to an appropriate code / provide their own modern slavery statements.
  • The percentage of candidates supplied from audited businesses / our preferred supplier list, • The effectiveness of enforcing policy violations against suppliers.
  • The amount of time spent on audits, re-audits, spot checks, and related due diligence, and the level of modern slavery training and awareness amongst our staff.
  1. As part of our efforts in this area, we publish an annual statement on modern slavery.
  2. We also recommend that you read this in conjunction with our other policies, which include:
  • Corporate social responsibility policy,
