The purpose of this Policy is to communicate Trophy Recruitment’s commitment to promoting equality of opportunity.

IMPLEMENTATION

To put this policy into action, we will:

  • Communicate the Policy to Employees by distributing it to all current and new employees.
  • Trophy Recruitment will make every effort, through appropriate training, to ensure that it does not discriminate consciously or unconsciously in the selection or recruitment of applicants for employment within the Company.

Incorporate specific and appropriate duties for implementing the Equal Opportunities Policy into roles and responsibilities.

Employee Responsibilities

  • Incorporate equal opportunity notices into general communication practises.
  • ensure that adequate resources are made available to achieve the Policy’s objectives.

COMPLAINTS

Employees who believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, or victimisation have the right to file a grievance using the established procedures. All discrimination complaints will be taken seriously, promptly, and confidentially.

Every effort will be made to ensure that employees who file complaints do not face retaliation. Any victimisation complaint will be taken seriously, promptly, and confidentially. Victimization will result in disciplinary action and, in extreme cases, dismissal.

Complaints from members of the public will be handled in accordance with established grievance procedures.

REVIEW AND MONITORING

Employees are encouraged to bring to the Director’s attention any areas where they believe the Policy falls short. All such comments will be taken into account and reviewed.

This Policy and its contents will be reviewed at least once a year. A review will also be conducted if new legislation or codes of practise are introduced or existing legislation or codes of practise are amended.
